Someday I want to dress my Lissie to match all the drawings in her books. I won't be able to fulfill this completely until I obtain her work dress, but I did finally get her original "meet" accessories a little over a month ago. So tonight I dressed her in the outfit she wears when Felicity is reunited with Penny. And now I thought I'd share:

    The picture:

My Lissie dressed like the picture:

The doll beside Felicity is the Aston-Drake porcelain doll of Jo from Little Women. The little porcelain doll behind them is just a little porcelain doll I picked up because I thought she was cute. I named her Flora after Anna Paquin's character from my favorite movie "The Piano."

    HI,

What a great idea! I love the pink dress Now let me go & show my AG lack of knowledge...is that an AG dress or custom made? Either way, it looks perfect My mom made my dd the Rick Rack dress from Kit's book (in my album) and it's one of our favorites.

Hope you can get Lissies work dress soon.

I am guessing it is Feliciy's Spring Gown without the apron.

    It is a cute idea.

Very cute! I love seeing the actual outfits in the books--it helps bring the story to life.

Someone made an album awhile back where she'd posed the dolls in scenes from the books, but I can't remember for the life of me who it was. Anyone else remember?

I have been hoping to do that as well, with my two historicals, Kirsten and Addy.
